ProvenanceThe briki was purchased by Mr Petros Vatsikopoulos and Mrs Victoria Vatsikpoulos in 1961 in Florina, Greece. It was purchased to warm the milk for their daughter Helen. It was also used to make custard for the child. The Vatsikopoulos family Petros, Victoria and Helen migrated to Australia in 1965.
