Edelweiss flowers in silver, yellow, blue and red, separated by silver dots and lines decorate the panels and edge of the instrument. The Adler Trademark of a harp and eagle is centred beneath the female musician. A brown card with the words "National Academy of Music, Mandolin, Guitar" is placed on the base below the round opening. A metal tuner, plucker and a small square piece that could be a music stand accompanies the instrument which is contained in a brown cardboard box with metal corners.
