This collection of photos and video relate to a short documentary donated by the Ukrainian community in South Australia. This documentary was conceived after the Ukrainian Women's Association (UWA) participated in the 2017- 2019 South Australia's History Festivals. Financial support was given by UWA and the Association of Ukrainians in South Australia. Film maker, Angelina Kachan, worked with members of the Ukrainian community to produce this moving record of migration stories and recollections.
The participants are: Irynej Mykyta, aged 12 at the time of the voyage to South Australia, his brother, Ludomyr aged 9, Vira Tursky aged 7, Tania Karpenko aged 11 and her sister, Zoya aged 9.
