Truffy MaGinnis played for the Armpits soccer team every season from 1982 - 2000, this shirt is part of a collection of memoribillia from the Armpits Lesbian soccer team.SignificanceThis football shirt comes from the Armpits lesbian football team, also known as the OUT women's soccer team under South Australian Women's Soccer Association. The Armpits played from 1982-2002 and operated as a non-hierarchical soccer team which encouraged women of all ages and abilities to join in and play football with no official coach or captain.
