DecriptionLike many others, I have become part of a "millennial green revolution" that started burgeoning at the beginning of the pandemic. I have more than twenty house plants in my room alone, big and small, varying from the most common (like a tradescantia) to the most popular (like a monstera deliciosa). I had some reserves about this at first. As an international student, I always had to be extra conscious of my own finance, especially in 2020 when work was scarce and my parents could not support me like they previously could. However, I made it work, starting out with cuttings that were given by my neighbors and friends. Slowly, my collection of two succulents has grown into a personal indoor jungle, just as a simple hobby has grown into a love for plants. In the midst of so much uncertainty from all aspects of life, nature has become the single constant variable that has kept me stable and sane. Watering, grooming, and watching new baby leaves unfurl are incredibly gratifying and meditative. Through the love and care I give to my plants, I also give back to myself, to my mental health, and to the many friends that I have persuaded to pick up this hobby as I did.' - Ngoc Lan Tran CreatorNgoc Lan Tran Locationnot specifiedCatalogue NumberML22698
